Designed to remove those unsightly swirl marks in your vehicles paintwork by hand or machine quickly and effectively, Meguiars SwirlX is a non abrasive, designated polish product that will not mar the finish or inflict more scratches during use. Meguiars have drawn on their extensive product knowledge in the professional body shop industry to create a highly effective and safe polish for the amature car cleaner.
As well as combatting swirl marks, Meguiars SwirlX also helps to noticeably enhance the color and clarity of your paintwork and leaves an excellent quality finish that is perfect for applying a wax or sealant product straight onto. This makes it an ideal single step polish to be used after claying and before protecting and finishing your paintwork.
When Polishing by hand, Meguiars SwirlX should be applied via a micro fiber or foam applicator pad and be thoroughly worked into the paintwork using both circular and linear motions. When using a dual action machine to polish, it should be applied and worked in at appropriate speeds with a foam polishing pad. As with any polish products, better results tend to be seen when a dual action machine polisher is used, however Meguiars SwirlX can effectively be reapplied and worked in a number of times by hand in order to achieve improved results.
The polish has a very pleasant fruity smell to it which helps with prolonged polishing sessions and it produces a minimum of dust during the buffing process which very is important if you do not want a messy car after polishing. It leaves a deep, rich glossy finish on all paintwork types and works especially well on darker colors. It should be noted that it is not an appropriate product to be used on heavier scratches as it does not have the capabilities to remove them, a more appropriate product for this would be Meguiars ScratchX.
Ideal for use as a regular polishing product in order to keep on top of light swirl marks, or as a one off solution to enhance your paintwork, Meguiars SwirlX is an excellent quality product that is best suited for use on newer or well maintained paintwork and if used correctly can deliver professional standard results.
